A slow touch, a questioning gaze

A slow touch, a questioning gaze is a series of 6 process/play workshops conceptualized and designed by Shellaine Godbold, an artist who I've had the pleasure of being friends with for the last 4/5 years. Ive had a drawing of hers on my bedroom wall for nearly as long and wake up to it every morning. She taught me how play is thinking, at a time when I needed it most, and this whole workshop series is designed around playing with materials, so their opinions and feelings come through. You're invited to join us at Leora Joy STUDIO, freshly opened, for one or more workshops. They will be held on one Sunday a month, from now until July (two Sundays in July). I am so excited for you to experience what Shellaine has in store for you. And also, this rooftop studio is gorgeous*
