Leora Joy Jones is an artist, writer, poet, and photographer who grew up swimming in the saltwarm Agulhas Current that passes the eastern coastline of South Africa. She now swims in mountain rivers high above the basin of Taipei where Leora Joy STUDIO is located.
She is co-founder and director of Taipei Poetry Collective, and founding editor of TPCReview. Her writing can be found online and in print, and her collages grace the front covers of MilkFever by Megan Ross and Rootbound by Manthipe Moila (both uHlanga Press). Leora holds an MA in Curation from NTUE, Taipei and a BFA in Fine Arts (Sculpture) from the university currently known as Rhodes, Makhanda.
